Getting ready for the road trip of a lifetime!

Finally, we have set the date and it has been fixed, it can’t be changed. On September the 30^th, we will return our house.

We have spent the last 7 years here and now we are packing all our belongings. We will cram as much as we can in our new old car but most of our items we can leave with a very good friend, and hit the road…

At the moment we live in between boxes, half empty shelves and cupboards and we returned to sleeping on the floor again (missing the jungle ricefield view allready). I have built down our loft bed, so I can reuse it for the indoor installation of our not jet camper.

I must say though that I feel rather comfortable, getting rid of the whole caboodle which we collected over the years. And the joy is impeccable, going on a trip to the known unknown.
